Following up on your clumping bamboo removal post: did you let it grow back or replant it? If you did replant, what did you replant with? I think a lot of us have similar tight spaces that could benefit from screening.

Hey Bridget— we decided to kill the bamboo mainly because Im not sure how long Ill be able to shear it. That only has to happen a few times per summer but it did require me being on a ladder. Also, since the neighbors added a privacy fence the lower part of the bamboo hedge isnt needed. We are going back with three small trees— a typle of maple similar to Japanese Maple.
This is a brilliant idea, Jenks. I think I'll do it too.
One thing I forgot was to remind folks that they can search. I meant to give an example of searching for Winter Veggies or Crinum Lily.....
